Narrative Pro’s quest graph is authored in its own editor, by hand. NP Quests authors it from outside: states, branches and tasks are created and wired programmatically, the layout is computed for you, and the dialogue that starts a quest and the dialogue that completes it are connected in the same pass.
That makes quest structure something a pipeline — or an agent — can produce and revise. Rough in the whole questline while the design is moving, then polish the keepers in the editor exactly as before: everything it makes is an ordinary Narrative Pro quest.
Creates and wires; the generic property tools configure. Layout is automatic — pass no coordinates, and never re-tidy a graph again.
